How We’ve Built a 6-Year Relationship With a Top District
Thanks to the hardworking team at DeClue Plumbing, we’ve established and maintained a 6-year relationship with the Lutheran Schools District. We’ve handled every kind of plumbing issue under the sun, bending over backward to fix the smallest to the most complex problems.
As the stress of running an entire educational facility often does, multiple schools in the district have faced issues like leaking pipes, malfunctioning toilets, out-of-date boilers, and improperly routed water lines.
We handle all repairs to the fullest extent. Whatever they need, we’ve got the answer, conducting a water main shut-off, pressing 2-inch fittings, replacing flushometers, or swapping out a boiler for a tankless water heater.
DeClue Plumbing keeps the locker rooms and science labs fully-functional all year long, saving them lots of money while doing it.
The Highest Efficiency Upgrades for a Grateful Homeowner
A client needed a brand spanking new bathroom remodel to update their room to the modern, convenient, and luxury space they knew they deserved.
After years of dealing with the limitations of a traditional water heater, they got tired of showering in the cold and wanted to upgrade to one that would provide instant hot water for as long as they wanted.
With no ifs ands or butts, DeClue Plumbing successfully sourced and installed a modern, high-efficiency, tankless hot water heater custom-made to hit their specific bathroom needs.
Our client is now enjoying the bliss of instant hot water. And because they get hot water as soon as they need it, they’re saving with a much lower monthly gas bill.
Peace of Mind for the Whole House
When a local homeowner called us to handle a noisy plumbing disturbance in the house, DeClue Plumbing helped quiet a noise that’d been knocking for way too long.
Due to extremely high water pressure traveling throughout the house, this homeowner couldn’t sleep with the loud “pipe knocking” noise constantly banging within the walls.
Tyler at DeClue took a deep look into the home’s entire plumbing system and installed a pressure relief valve to safely and securely regulate the water flow entering the home’s infrastructure.
By diagnosing the water pressure early and installing the valve, we protected the home from long-term structural damage, and more importantly, brought back the peace and quiet so our client can sleep at night.

How We Quadrupled a St. Louis Homeowner’s Water Pressure in One Trip
A homeowner couldn’t take the low water pressure in their bathroom any longer. DeClue Plumbing inspected their system and set them straight.
A St. Louis homeowner noticed their bathroom had gone from very low water pressure to barely any at all. What felt like a small inconvenience turned out to be a serious infrastructure problem. Our inspection revealed that the home’s original galvanized pipes were clogged with decades of rust and corrosion.
We assessed the full scope of the problem and recommended a complete whole-home water line replacement. Instead of a quick fix that maybe would’ve bought them a few more years, we pulled the old galvanized system entirely and upgraded every line to modern PEX Type A pipe that was flexible, durable, and fit to work within a modern household.
Their water pressure came back four times stronger than ever, they got a bang for their buck all in one trip, and now, they have a system that’s going to last upwards of 25-40 years.
Emergency Plumbing on the Coldest Night of the Season
A client called us after the coldest night of the winter season left them in a bind. DeClue Plumbing responded immediately and stopped a burst pipe from turning into a major repair project.
After the coldest night of the brutal winter season, a homeowner woke up to find they had no running water in their kitchen or bathroom. A pipe had frozen solid in the sub-zero temps. For every hour that passed, there was a greater risk of that pipe splitting and causing thousands of dollars in water damage.
DeClue Plumbing responded immediately. We found the frozen section, brought in plenty of heaters, and carefully thawed the blockage until the waterflow was restored with no cracks in site. Before we left, we walked through the preventative measure of leaving faucets dripping ever so slightly during the worst cold snaps to keep the water moving.
We thawed the pipe safely with no splits or bursts so that our client could have full water flow restored the same day. They avoided a costly pipe replacement that would’ve been several times more than the cost of our services.

Bringing Sanitary Plumbing Back to a Three-Unit Clayton Apartment Building
An upscale apartment building in the Clayton neighborhood had a serious plumbing failure that affected multiple tenants. We got our hands dirty and tackled it head-on.
A multi-unit Clayton facility had a cracked cast iron pipe that allowed sewage to leak through the walls of at least three tenant units. Bathroom wallpapers were stained with waste, causing a major sanitation emergency that made the units uninhabitable and put the building owner at serious risk of code violations and tenant disputes.
The DeClue Plumbing team replaced the failing cast iron pipe from the basement all the way to the third floor, upgrading the entire thing with modern PVC. We reconnected six toilets and six sinks across all of the affected units, all while making sure we had the necessary permits. We coordinated it all, from the drywall repair to all the final fixture hookups.
Our clients got back to luxury living, and the building owner’s final inspection passed without any issues. They avoided major displacement and code violation penalties all while avoiding having to deal with multiple contractors.
